Syllabuses and Curricula:
The syllabuses and curricula of the different Faculties of the university have been framed in conformity with those of the accredited university of Europe and North America, thus qualifying our graduates for credit transfer and post graduates studies abroad. The course curricula are designed on semester basis. There are two semesters of six month's duration each in an academic year.

The people's University of Bangladesh is offering courses (1) the School of Business Administration (2) the School of Arts and (3) the School of applied Science. Under the School of Business Administration

there are (a) BBA and (b) MBA programs. The School offers majors in (1) Accounting, (2) Management, (3) Finance, (4) Marketing and (5) Information Technology in the BBA Program and majors in (1) Accounting, (2) Finance, (3) Marketing, (4) Management, (5) Human Resource Management, (6) Computer Information System (7) Industrial Management (8) Banking and (9) Insurance in the MBA Program. There is also B.Sc. Hons. in Hotel Management & Tourism - a three-year Program. Under the School of Arts, the university offers B. A. Hons., M. A. (Preliminary) and M. A. (Final) Courses in English. The University offers a four-year Hons. program in Physiotherapy and a three-year Diploma Courses in Physiotherapy and a one year Diploma Courses in Acupuncture under the School of Applied Science. The School of Applied Science also offers a four a four-year B.Sc. Hons. program in Computer Science and Engineering.
