Admission Requirements:
The following are the requirements for admission to the different courses offered by PUB:
BBA : At least 2nd Division in SSC & HSC or equivalent examinations.
MBA Regular (Evening): Master or Bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 6 points for freshmen and 5 points for in-service or 4-year BBA candidates.
MBA Executive (Evening) : Graduation in any discipline with 3 years working experience as an executive.
B. Sc. in Hotel Management and Tourism : At least 4 points in SSC & HSC or equivalent examinations.
B. Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering / B. Sc. in Computer Science : At least 2nd division in SSC & HSC or equivalent examinations (with Physics & Mathematics).
B. Sc. (Hons.) in Physiotherapy: At least 2nd division in SSC & HSC or equivalent examinations (with Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
Diploma in Physiotherapy : At least 2 points in SSC (Science) or equivalent examinations.
Diploma in Acupuncture: Medical graduates (MBBS / BDS / BSPT /BHMS).
B. A. (Hons.) in English: At least 2nd division in SSC & HSC or equivalent examinations.
M. A. (Preliminary) in English (Evening): At least 6 points in SSC, HSC & B. A. or equivalent examinations.
M. A. (Final) in English (Evening): 3- or 4-year Hons. Degree in English or SSC, HSC, B. A. M. A.(Prel.) in English or equivalent degrees with at least 6 points.
Fee Waivers
5% of the poor but meritorious students are allowed fee waivers.
All female Students enjoy 20% fee waiver.
The Academic Year
One academic year is divided into two semesters beginning January and July every year. Each semester is of 22 weeks duration, with 18 weeks for class teaching, 2 weeks break for examination preparatory leave and 2 weeks for holding examinations.
