Chairman

Mr. Mutasim Billah was born in a noble Muslim family . His father is Alhaz Abdul Rouf and mother is Samsul Naher . He completed his education Meherpur .He was a Commissioner of Meherpur Municipality for two times . In 1993 he was elected a Chairman of Meherpur Municipality and in 1999 he was elected a Chairman for second time. Mr . Mutasim Biiiah is engaged with various social organizations and clubs. He is the Secretary of Rickshaw-Association and of Rifles club. He is also the President of Tennis Club.

He is an educational entrepreneur. He is the founder Secretary of Meherpur Mohila College, founder president of Poura College. Besides these he has founded couple of primary school with he associated with some local educationists and donors.

He is the father of three daughters and two sons. This honorable devoted personality is always trying to develop the Meherpur Pourasava.
