Oct'97 to Oct'98:

Suggesting improved procedure for registration and maintenance of land records.

From 1997 to October 1998:
Land Law and Land Registration Advisor, Modernisation of Land Administration, Phase II, DLRS.
Together with the international Land Law and Land Registration Advisor responsible for developing a hypothetical model of a land registration system using LAMS capable of providing a simple secure and sustainable system for the registration of interests in land. The model focused on:
A single authoritative land record capable of recording all interests and changes in a particular land plot. Prescribed forms for land transactions to be registered and retained on public record. Processes and procedures for the registration of land transactions and the maintenance of land records, and Processed and procedures for registering and maintaining a record of the land plot, including the creation of new land plots resulting from subdivision or amalgamation. Providing advisory services for legal matters of the company, land purchase, mutation etc. and in other land related project.

From January 1999:
Land Law Specialist, Land Administration Reform Project (TA No. 3054-BAN) of DLRS.
Responsibilities includes: - Identification and review of laws, ordinances, orders, rules, legal investments, etc. that impact on and regulate land administration in Bangladesh.
- Recommending viable legal, procedural and administrative measures.
- Recommendation for appropriate legal reform for land registration system.
- Development of a plan for legislative reforms to implement land registration system.

From 1990:
Legal Advisor/Panel Lawyer, State Bank of India, Habib Bank Ltd., Rupali Bank Ltd., Uttara Bank Ltd.
Conducting litigation such as filing suit for recovery of money, sale of mortgage properties, ascertaining title on the land proposed to be mortgaged with the Bank as security against advances, preparation/drawing documents for mortgage and other opinion on legal aspects.
