He is a famous personality in the
socio-cultural fields in Bangladesh. He is working to promote the
educational opportunities in his locality. In 1992 he established a high school
named Toomchar Asad Academy. He is also the former President
of Bhobanigonj High School Managing Committee. He is the life member of
Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Gulshan Club Limited, Uttara, Club Limited,
Baridhara Association, Bangladesh Lion Foundation, Lakshmipur Jilla Samity. He
established a Mosque in his village and made a lot of donations for various
kinds of Socio-cultural, Religious, Sports & Educational Institutions like Dalal Bazar College, Bhabanigonj Madrasa, Raipur Rustam Ali College, Jabbar Masterhat High School, Shak Char Junior High School and Char Ababil High School Authorities of these institutions
are always grateful to him for his kind donation. Mr. Alam is one of the top
donors of Lakshmipur Barta. Mr. Badrul Alam always advances his helping hand to
Lakshmipur Barta in the various kind of its social & humanitarian
activities.
