Teachers play a vital role in the nation-building process. They help the younger generation becoming good citizens who directly and indirectly contribute towards national development. In this context Bangladesh observes a day every year as the National Teachers Day. With a view to create public awareness in the matter, elaborate programs including seminars, symposia etc. are organized on this day.
