Education is a pre-requisite for national development. In view of the very great importance

 of education in the nation-building process, Bangladesh observes the National Education Week as an annual program. On this occasion, literary and cultural competitions like

essay writing, recitation, set speech, music, dance etc. are arranged for the

students at various levels and attractive prizes are given to the winners.

Moreover, selected teachers are honored with the ‘Best Teacher

Award’s and selected educational institution are also

befittingly honored on this occasion.
